A lovely host and a great hotel.

Really cool place!

The breakfast had a good choice, with portions based on what people actually ate, which helped avoid waste. The guesthouse is also well placed for Playmobil FunPark, an easy walk away, with a supermarket in town and a drugstore nearby. Our rooms were very clean, and we got talking to the hostess straight away. She was open and welcoming, without prejudice. One thing that bothered me was a regular guest, I think, who came out of his second-floor room at 7 each morning and slammed the door. He could have shut it quietly. With other families and children staying there, that felt unacceptable, and he must have known people could hear. This isn't a complaint about the hosts, but someone should address it.

We were thrilled with our stay and will definitely return. The hosts were lovely, everything was clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. Our room was great and the bathroom spotless, including the shower tray and doors, where the silicone seals were in excellent shape. There were mosquito nets, plus cribs for babies and toddlers, something I'd never seen at a guesthouse before. A vending machine in the basement had beer, shandy and soft drinks at good prices. Playmobil FunPark was a five-minute walk, Palm Beach in Stein about ten minutes away, and Zirndorf five minutes. There's also a Greek restaurant nearby and a good beer garden at the campground.
