Pension Bloo Tomato

I wouldn't recommend this place. In 30 years of traveling, this was the worst room I've had. We paid through PayPal, but left after just one night, and unfortunately the stay had health consequences. Maybe a tradesman could put up with it. It's unbelievable that places like this still exist in Germany. Booking.com also raises a big question mark for me. In response to the owner's reply: I definitely didn't request twin beds. The first photo on the room page clearly shows something else, and I never saw the hidden storage room with two beds shown in the second photo. Since the owner is now claiming the facts were distorted, here's more detail. We were taken to a room without seeing it beforehand. When we asked about breakfast, we were told it ran from 8:00 - 9:00 AM because it was supposedly the off-season, which made no sense to us. We wanted to cancel breakfast, but were told we couldn't because we'd already paid. The tourist tax was briefly explained to us, and we left it in the envelope. Having no receipt or proof of payment left a bad feeling, and since the owner raised the issue so directly, I'll try to find out from the city whether that money is being paid to the right place. We travel often, but I've never encountered such an appalling storage room. We took photos of it as documentation. I'm sure that night contributed to the medical emergency. When we left on Saturday at around 6 p.m., there was nobody at this "guesthouse" for us to raise the issue with, so we decided to go. So don't claim I gave false information or didn't try to communicate. Accept the criticism, because it's genuine. And a reminder: a guilty conscience needs no accuse!

We felt very comfortable here. The guesthouse is furnished beautifully and creatively, and its Mediterranean-style, park-like garden is wonderfully landscaped. Service was warm and attentive. Highly recommended.

My mother and I stayed one night while passing through the area and loved it. Communication was excellent, the room had lovely decor, and breakfast was delicious 😊

We could leave the car at home all week and get around using the guest card for activities 👍🏻. Lake Olbersdorf and the shops are easy to reach on foot, and a bus to the Czech Republic departs from the train station every hour. The guesthouse matched its website description, and the owner and staff were friendly and quick to respond to our questions and needs. Our dog had a great time too 🐶. We'd be happy to come back!
