I’ve stayed in so many “3 star” hotels, and this one is absolutely the best. Parking, breakfast, Wi-Fi, everything! There were two bottles of shampoo and a bottle of shower gel in the bathroom, plus towels, cotton pads, slippers, and a nail file. They’ve thought of everything you might need. I also loved the book with information about the city and useful things for your stay. I absolutely adored it, even though I was only there for one night!

Very clean, friendly staff, and a great breakfast.

Clean and nice, with a good breakfast!

The night was a disaster. I woke up with sore ears from the very hard pillow, and there wasn’t another one in the room. After that I could barely sleep because it sounded as if a main road ran right through the room. I thought the window might be open, but it was closed. I’d planned to stay two nights with breakfast, but checked out early and found another hotel. I don’t know if the problems were normal or connected to someone on the team being sick for a long time. If that was the reason, they should have handled it differently and been more upfront. Getting there started well: the parking was easy, clearly marked, and had plenty of space. But at the entrance, there was a plate at eye level being used as an ashtray, which wasn’t very welcoming. Then I saw a sign saying the restaurant was closed because of illness. They could have told me beforehand so I could have bought food on the way. When I rang the bell, someone answered over the intercom and immediately asked what time I wanted breakfast, before I’d even settled in. Once let inside, I was told to get my key from an openly accessible chest of drawers and call the landline again. I didn’t see an employee in person all day. My room was on the second floor, with no elevator, and much smaller than I expected. It would have been fine just for sleeping. It was very clean except for the telephone, but some furniture was quite old, and the color made it look like a former smoking room. There were towels and small toiletries in the bathroom. After putting my luggage away, I called as requested. They asked if I wanted a packed lunch instead of breakfast on the third day, to be delivered on the afternoon of the second day, with rolls and yogurt, so nobody would have to come in during their free time. I didn’t want stale rolls the next day, so I declined. When I asked where to eat nearby, all I got was “in town,” which isn’t helpful when you don’t know the area. Breakfast cost €10.80, and the selection was very disappointing: two pre-baked rolls, butter, jam, and a little cold meat. That’s really meager for the price. At a Leonardo Hotel in Bavaria, I’ve had a large buffet for €12, with eggs, waffles, fruit, muesli, and lots of other options. The value for money here was completely unacceptable. I finally met a hotel employee at breakfast and calmly explained what had bothered me, hoping we could talk it through and find a solution. There was no suggestion, apology, or attempt to accommodate me. The whole stay had nothing to do with a pleasant hotel experience.

The room was clean, though a little dated, and the staff were friendly and helpful when I asked questions. The location is good and public transport connections are convenient. It’s fine for a short stay, but anyone looking for extra comfort or special services could be disappointed.
