It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely sea view, in a city that felt peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly, and the environment and pool were clean. There are taxis and shuttle buses for getting into town. The spa and gym were about to be commissioned when I visited. One of the best hotels in Djibouti.

Breakfast comes with the room, and the food is decent, though it can be hit or miss. The service is great and everyone understands English. It’s right on the seafront and not far from the city, with budget pricing compared with Kepenski. The rooms are getting a little old, and there’s no geyser or health faucet.

I booked after someone else recommended it, but I won’t be returning. There were a couple of friendly staff members, though most were rude and incompetent. The mattress was rock hard and the shower had no hot water. For what it costs, the value is terrible. I wouldn’t call this a four-star hotel, or even a two-star one.
