The location is handy for almost anything, but the rooms didn’t match what was shown online. My room had dirty curtains, old mattresses, broken beds, taps, and door handles. The AC was noisy and hadn’t been serviced, so I had to use a fan. Breakfast was dried bread, hot water, and teabags. Service was poor too. I had a late evening flight and asked if I could use a place to work after checking out at 11am, while I waited for it, but they declined. I just wished they had a shared space or restaurant for that.

The rooms are spacious, and the attendants are courteous and welcoming. There’s also a kitchen area with cookware if you want to make your own food. The downside is that the hotel only serves breakfast, so for full board you have to buy meals elsewhere. Still, it’s one of the nicest places to be in Djibouti.

The suites were a great surprise, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. The main courtyard can get quite noisy at times. It’s centrally located, with many attractions an easy walk away. Highly recommended!

The rooms looked much better in the photos than they did in person, and the actual rooms were poor. We were also charged an extra $45. They said they would send it back, but after several attempts we still couldn’t get in touch with them. It’s really disappointing that they don’t seem to care about their customers.

There are 17 guest rooms here, with newer facilities that are changed every few years. Everything was sparkling clean. Neemat, the manager, was friendly with customers, and Abdulkadr and Mustapha were good coworkers. Hassan handled security. A hotel in Djibouti with a difference.
