Sandskaer Strandcamping

The campground itself is really good, the staff are very friendly, everything is clean, and there are lots of wild animals and horses. But an older German man who seemed to have a drinking problem kicked my dog. He was walking through our pitch while our dog barked. After walking past, he turned around and kicked him. Several witnesses saw it. The man's friend claimed our dog bit him, but that wasn't true. Our dog is old, his teeth are falling out, and he's never hurt anyone. I have a picture of the man but won't post it because I want to avoid a lawsuit.

The communal kitchen even has ovens, which is great when you fancy cooking something in one. The pitches are a good size, and there's a nice beach with plenty for young kids to do. Showers and toilets were clean and modern. It's a very well-kept campsite with excellent facilities. The shop has everything you'll need, and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommended.

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and thanks to Jesper for the tip on where to get good fish! It's a nice campground right by the water, with a small beach, waterbike and bike rentals, big playgrounds, and activities for kids. The playground in the woods is especially neat, and there are cute pigs, free wifi, and good facilities. I would have preferred a little more privacy between pitches, but that's just my preference, and it would take more trees for that! :)
