Our host was lovely and made sure the place was clean and ready for us. The accommodation has what you need, including space to self-cater, a roomy bedroom with an extra bed, and a large table for meals. The bathroom was okay, though it could use some care. The double bed was just two singles pushed together, which isn't great if you're used to a larger bed. Friis is well placed for the main part of town, and it's an easy walk to the zoo and gallery of modern art. I'd suggest it for someone on a budget who wants to be close to things. There are larger hotels in town if you're after something a bit nicer. Still, it was a nice stay. I loved the Danes, and the town was beautiful. Thanks Aalborg.

I spent one night at Friis BB and was very pleased. It was spacious and had everything I needed, with pleasant furnishings, a nice bathroom, and everything clean and tidy. The central Aalborg location was handy, yet it stayed quiet at night. I'd definitely return.

The room was bright, lovely, and very clean, and I felt welcome from the start. The kitchenette and bathroom facilities were great. It's near the centre and has good public transport connections. All in all, a wonderful experience and somewhere I can recommend.

Fucking awful hotel. Cockroaches everywhere, and the waiter's ass was crumbling.
