Milling Hotel Ritz

The location was perfect and breakfast was included, but I’d rate the hotel 2.5/5. The Wi-Fi was awful. An employee said things were fine on their end, but it kept disconnecting on both of my devices throughout my two-day stay. The dining room was poorly ventilated, so my clothes smelled of food afterward. The double bed was very small for two people, and the room felt chilly. When it was slightly below freezing outside, cold air came in around the windows, and I had to raise the curtain to let warmth into the room. There were no floor towels in the toilet or bathroom, which was unpleasant with icy tiles in winter.

The room itself was good, and the stay worked out well. Wi-Fi was weak in my room, perhaps because it was at the far end of the hallway, and I missed having a towel in the bathroom, which wasn’t very large. Breakfast is served downstairs in the basement, but it’s sweet and comfortable there. The hotel is right by the main station and only a few minutes from the city centre.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and you can get free coffee and snacks, including healthy ones, all day. The rooms were clean, had all the essentials, and were quiet despite being in town. For what you pay, the standard is really high compared with much more expensive hotels. A very nice surprise. I can highly recommend it.

We’d go back in a heartbeat. The staff were so welcoming, especially Sia and the manager Laura. A lovely hotel, highly recommend.
