I like what you’ve done with the place, and the room itself was nice. The beds were good and the bathroom was spacious. The TV was great too, with good streaming and Wi-Fi. But the halls were so dark I nearly couldn’t find my room, and I even tried to unlock the wrong one. The kitchen was dirty and had no soap. It’s hard to clean up with dirty towels. More information about the facilities might have helped us find soap and cloths.

The easy online code for arrival and departure was a big help, especially with a small child who gets restless waiting at reception. We also appreciated being able to cook in the room’s kitchenette or the shared kitchens. Making our own meals and snacks kept the trip affordable and gave it a homely feel. Djurs Housing was a handy base for nearby outings, and my friend's child loved Munkholm Zoo. The free tickets from Djurs Housing made the visit even better. There were exciting animals as well as farm animals suited to smaller children, and nearby attractions meant we could see more without spending much time or money on transport. We were on a tight budget but still wanted to be comfortable, and Djurs Housing worked out really well. The prices were affordable, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in Djursland.

We liked Djursland, and the beds at djurshousing were actually OK. But the room we got wasn’t worth 600,- a night, or 2400 for 4 nights. At the website price of 250,- it might be livable. Even though 600,- is still very cheap, the savings weren’t worth it for us, at least not in that room. There was visible moisture damage in several places. The bathroom ceiling had holes, with butterfly mosquitoes around them, animals that typically live in sludge at sewage plants. I have pictures. The floor stayed sticky after cleaning with too much soap. Even after wiping it and 4 days, it was still sticky, and the window sills had a shiny, greasy layer of soap. The dishes and pots and pans were clearly dirty, though we didn’t need to cook, so that wasn’t a major problem. The refrigerator had been wiped loosely. The indoor climate was miserable even though the windows were open when we arrived. We left them open each day while we were out, but after just an hour in the room the air was tiring to breathe. The bedding gave off a lot of fibers, which didn’t help. The radiators were blocked at around 17 degrees, probably part of the generally poor indoor climate. The building was dark and reminded me a bit of an abandoned nursing home. The hallway lights didn’t work, and things in the common areas were very worn, including broken pool cues and holes from shots. We didn’t need those things, so they didn’t affect our visit, but they made quite a frame for the experience. To top it off, the room above us was rented to a couple of trenchers. They came home at 11 pm and rearranged their room until 11:45 pm, then turned up again at 6 am. I mean that literally. We knew they were trenchers because they were very loud when they blew smoke out of the vent in their room.

The price was absolutely reasonable, and the staff were extremely helpful. The room and bathroom were clean in every way. Workmen had tracked dirt into the hallway outside, but it was taken care of the next morning. The place is centrally located in Djursland, and I can recommend it in every way.
