Hotel Ærøhus

Nuria made us feel so welcome, and the other staff were lovely too. The breakfast was great, and everything was clean and neat. It’s such a cozy, charming place. I’d happily come back.

Our Chow Chow sends a thank-you too! The reception team made sure we were comfortable traveling with our dog, and even offered us a larger room on the ground floor, which was much easier for her. We had a fantastic stay and really appreciated their kindness.

The restaurant was a beautiful place, with friendly staff, and we’d be glad to return. It isn’t the cheapest spot in town, but the food was excellent. My kids ordered fish and chips and loved it, and I thought it was among the best I’ve had too. The sauce was different from the usual, but they liked that as well. I had the traditional Danish Stegt flæsk, pork with boiled potatoes and parsley sauce. It was good, though I prefer it pan-fried rather than oven-cooked, which can dry it out. Most places seem to prepare it that way.

We celebrated our wedding day with dinner at Ærøhus, and it was wonderful. The food and wine were delicious, and the service was both friendly and helpful. The atmosphere felt relaxed while still professional. Absolutely recommend it.
