The breakfast was pretty small, but the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. The interior is old-fashioned, though still charming and clean. There’s a nice pool area and a well-kept garden, with great views over the small lake.

Hotel Hammersø feels like a time warp back to the 70s, and I love that they’ve kept that style. It’s a family-run place with cozy rooms and lovely hosts. Our room had a beautiful view, and both the breakfast buffet and the old Danish food at dinner were great. We just got back from our first visit last week and would love to return ❣️👌🤙
