Ansager Hytteby

There’s plenty of outdoor room for kids to play, and the setting is green and peaceful while still close to the center of Ansager. We found it good value and used it as a base for visiting Legoland and nearby places.

The owners called ahead to check when we’d arrive, since we were getting in late and someone needed to be there with the keys. We stayed two nights, and the cabin worked comfortably for our family of four. It had its own bathroom, a small kitchenette stocked with different cooking items, and tea and coffee supplies. They’d also left water bottles and little chocolates as a welcome for tired travelers. The town was pleasant too, with a couple of convenience stores for picking up supplies. It’s a handy overnight stop when driving through Jutland, especially for Legoland, and we were very happy with the stay.

For a family of four, it was just right. The place is small, but very clean and equipped with what we needed, at a reasonable price. Legoland is about a 30-minute drive away.

Great location, though the cottages are quite small and don’t have many utensils.
