Fun Art Blokhus

We had a fun day here with the kids. Our oldest loves minigolf and has played lots of courses, and put this one in his top five. The holes had plenty of variety. We also enjoyed the football course, and the little ones had the trampolines. There’s pétanque too, which I know as jeu de boules, and a bouncy castle area for smaller kids, though we didn’t visit that ourselves. If you only want to play minigolf, the ticket at about 20 euro pp may feel expensive. For more than that, the price seemed fine. One odd thing: the drinks, snacks and ice cream place seemed to close around 15:30, and stayed shut until we left at 17:30. I’m not sure why. We saw several tourists unsure where or how to get tickets. The text was only in Danish and there wasn’t anyone around then. There’s a ticket machine just to the left after the main entrance, and it’s easy enough to work out which buttons to press even if you can’t read Danish.

It’s self service, so just head to the blue shipping container to buy tickets and pick up equipment. Easy peasy. There’s a nice spot for a snack, though drinks were a bit expensive, and nobody seemed to be at the snack booth for hours. Still, lots of fun and the staff we met were friendly.

We found it interesting and very nice, though prices were high. There was no information or staff available to play when we visited, perhaps because it was low season in mid-August.

We’ve had some fun family visits here. Painting ceramics was enjoyable for all of us, and the finished pieces turned out better than we expected.
