Boeslunde Camping & Cottages

The kids had play areas and crazy golf to enjoy, and we also joined the owner for a pony ride into the forest for 60kr. The kitchen was clean, the game room was small but fine, and the large TV room was a nice space. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the site was easy to find. Toilets were clean, showers were pleasant, with two minutes of hot water for 2kr, and there are family rooms too. We bought a family pool card for the week but never used it because it rained, so that felt like a waste. The pools are small and not really suited to adults. Rain came through the roof into the small indoor pool, so I wouldn't recommend using the pools. Also, most people didn't follow the quiet rule after 22:00, which made it hard to get the kids to sleep. Still, it was a nice place for our family camping trip.

The playground was nice, though it was in very poor repair, and the swimming pool was pleasant but cost an extra 20 dkr per person per day, with a cheaper weekly rate. The room worked for a two-night stop, and the bunk bed would suit kids, but an adult wouldn't sleep well on that mattress. The rooms are about 10 Meyers from a B road, with other apartments behind them. There's a small outdoor table and only two chairs for rooms meant for four, and four chairs wouldn't fit. Passing through could be fine, but I wouldn't pitch a tent or park a caravan here.

The green lawn was nice, but that's about all the credit I can give it. They claim three stars, though two would be more accurate. The cisterns were clogged, the bed linen was poor, and customer service was an absolute joke.

We had a wonderful time here. The owners were really friendly, and the campsite is spacious, with a large tent area and a firepit/BBQ in the middle. There's a big play field with plenty of facilities, including two inflatables. Showers were clean and roomy, and there are washing facilities, a kitchen area, and a little shop selling groceries and fresh bread.
