It’s very quiet and relaxing, and the main building rooms have been newly renovated. There weren’t any spare pillows or blankets in the cupboard. Staff were good, though they could use more people. The apartment style rooms are separate from the main building and hadn’t been renovated or cleaned properly. For kids, there’s only a tiny playground with one trampoline. The pool is 1.5 metres deep and guests aren’t allowed to use it. A thin wire around it is meant to keep children away, but doesn’t seem nearly enough. Our room’s window faced the road, so opening it on a warm night meant hearing traffic, even though there wasn’t much. I expect a room facing the hotel garden would be better.

The new management has changed everything, so disregard reviews from before 2016. We had the three course set dinner with the wine package and really enjoyed the food, the wines, and the friendly service.

A nice spot for a family event. The burger is huge, and the Rugbrød kage tastes good.

The village is lovely to visit, and the place itself is beautiful. Our double room was big, breakfast was good, and the restaurant served lovely food.
