We appreciated that the request for a warm room was respected, which made us more comfortable. Still, the dirty bedding and poor handling of the problem left us disappointed. On the first night we found hair on the sheets and told reception. A staff member came up wearing outdoor shoes and asked if we'd like to put on the clean sheet ourselves. While changing it, we saw that the duvet was very dirty and torn, as shown in the attached photos. That raised real hygiene concerns and didn't meet the cleanliness or upkeep we expected. The room itself was acceptable, but below the standard we associate with a 5-star property. We chose the hotel with high expectations because Booking presents it as 5-star. The service around the bedding issue also fell short of what we expected at that level. We hope the hotel reviews this internally and takes the feedback as constructive, since both hygiene and service standards affect the guest experience.

The front desk helped us pick great restaurants and, just as usefully, steer clear of the bad ones. Service went above and beyond, and breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were very nice, especially the comfortable beds. The location is amazing, and it was easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Really great place.

That was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, no exaggeration. Our room was cosy, clean, and equipped with a minibar and the usual things, including a coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and iron. Breakfast buffet was great, with lots of options, including gluten-free choices. Check-in and checkout staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location's great, with plenty to see within walking distance.

We appreciated the snacks and minibar, and the cosy rooms were well equipped. Breakfast was excellent too. The location is fabulous, and we really enjoyed staying here. One of the best hotel experiences we've had.
