The noise made this stay a no for me. Roadwork began at 7:30 in the morning, and cars hitting metal plates in the road caused loud banging. I couldn't get an answer when I called reception from the room, so I called on my mobile. When I asked to move rooms, I was told, “It’s a big city, what did you expect?” That felt dismissive and unprofessional. I've lived in London and understand city noise, but this was excessive, and I wouldn't stay again. The location itself was handy, just two minutes from the train, and the WiFi worked well. The woman at the front desk was friendly. Still, the bed and shower felt very small, and the wall lamp was placed where it was easy to hit your head.

We spent most of the holiday walking around the city, so this place suited us fine. It wasn't anything special, but having a restaurant on site was nice.

The location was central, the staff were nice during the day, and both the rooms and shared bathrooms were clean. The rooms were spacious, too. The place does feel a bit old, though, and could use a renovation.

In the middle of Cph, the room looked onto a quiet backyard, so I could sleep with the window open without noise. It did smell a little musty. The place is basic and a bit old, with shared bathrooms and toilets, but it was good value and didn't feel creepy or unsettling as a solo woman traveller.

My personal room had a smart TV, and the free WiFi let me connect my laptop with Chromecast to watch Netflix. The shared toilets were very clean. They seemed to get cleaned twice a day, though I'm not sure. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was outstanding for the price. I visited in January and paid 40 euros per night. The best part is the location: City Hotel Nebo is only 50 metres from CPH central station. They have rooms ranging from shared to private, and there's a luggage room where you can leave your bags. My room was private, with shared toilets.
