The luggage lockers were a real help after checkout, especially the biggest ones, since we could keep exploring the city without our bags. I stayed a couple of nights at Generator Copenhagen with my two besties in a mixed room with three other roommates. It was surprisingly quiet at first, with most people just coming in to sleep, though on Friday you could hear parties outside. We were on the second floor, which may have made a difference. The room had its own toilet and a separate shower room, plus a sink, soap, and mirror. There was drinking water, and reception had a good hairdryer. The bar is a social spot if you're looking for company, and everything went smoothly. The room was also uncomfortably warm from the heating. For a more comfortable stay, I'd bring magnetic hooks, clips for drying towels, and earplugs with an eye mask. I didn't expect Copenhagen to call for just a long-sleeved top and a good jacket, even in the snow. I'd recommend GC and will definitely return.

For a hostel, it was alright apart from a few things. The shower was a hassle because water ended up all over the floor, sink, and pretty much everywhere. Breakfast was another letdown: the buffet selection was very limited, basically cornflakes or a sandwich, and I didn't think the coffee was anything special. In my opinion, it wasn't worth the price. The pillows were so flat that my mom and I had neck pain the next morning, though stacking two extra pillows helped, so it wasn't too serious. We were also nearly right above the club, and the noise kept my mom from sleeping. The buffet really needs work.

You can walk to pretty much everything worth seeing in Copenhagen from here, and the price is good too. A friend suggested the hotel for its location, and it lived up to that. If you're after a fancy hotel, though, this probably isn't the place for you.

The location is spot on, with everything nearby. Our room was tiny, and the bathroom setup made it hard to shower without soaking the whole place. We had the same issue at another property, so I think it might be common around here.

The food was a highlight. The à la carte breakfast and dinner in the bar were great. We had scrambled eggs and bacon on toast, and tried a few burgers during our stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming, and the beds were comfortable. Housekeeping even changed our sheets and towels while we were there. For two of us, four nights in a private room cost £277, and we were upgraded to a family room for free. We gave it 4.5 out of 5. The location is about a mile from Tivoli gardens and the little mermaid, with everything else less than a mile away. We had one small issue, but it was sorted out quickly. Would definitely recommend.
