Hotel Nora Copenhagen

We spent most of our time out exploring, so the modest room worked well for us. It was clean and had all the basics, and the double room was just right for me and the other person staying with me. The front desk staff were incredibly nice. There’s a great city view from the rooftop, and the hotel sits right on the marathon route. It’s also close to a 7/11, Hart bakery/cafe, bike racks, and the canal. The city center is about a 10-15 minute bike ride away. We’d definitely come back!

We loved breakfast at Nora each morning. To cut down on waste, you choose what you want, and they bring it to you in your booked time slot. The room was comfortable and new, and the hotel itself is a lovely little place, conveniently near the center and close to buses that go all around the city. Every evening there was also a complimentary glass of wine from 5-6 p.m. I’d suggest taking it up to the terrace. We’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

Nora’s entrance is easy to miss from the street. Go through the tunnel and ring the reception bell in the elevator. Once inside, the staff were great. Breakfast is ordered at check-in by marking what you want and when you want it, then they bring small plates and pots to your table. They say it cuts down on waste, and it’s a good idea. One morning I arrived half an hour early and they served me anyway. There’s no iron in the room or ironing room, but they lent me one when I asked because my suits were badly creased. The hotel is small but good value compared with other Copenhagen hotels, which I find unfairly expensive for what you get compared with much of Europe. It’s about 1.5 km from the central station, on a busy road, so taxis can drop you off or pick you up without much waiting. I was satisfied with my stay.

I slept well in a comfortable room, and the price felt fair for what I got. The staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and ordered the night before, and the Metro is only a short walk away. The nearby amenities were handy too. I enjoyed my one-night stay at Hotel Nora. Thanks!
