Hotel Sanders

We stopped in for a drink and hot chocolate, and had a wonderful experience. The receptionist and the person making our drinks were both so kind. The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished, too. We sat in the heated rooftop area on the fifth floor, which I’d definitely recommend for a little break in the city centre.

I visited with friends today and had a great time. Gemma served us and was fantastic, with lots of suggestions for our Copenhagen weekend. Go here for great cocktails and lovely staff!

The location worked really well, and getting here from the airport by metro took about 20 minutes. Our room felt spacious by European standards, with a clean, simple design and plenty of comfort. The cocktail bar was a highlight too, creative drinks and a cool music and atmosphere. Thanks to the staff for such great service.

At Sanders Hotel Copenhagen, we were repeatedly told to leave because we had a buggy with our 3-month-old baby. The next morning it happened again, before I could even order a coffee. The evening before, we tried to get pre-dinner drinks, 3 white wine spritz and 1 cocktail. After 20 minutes only the cocktail arrived, and the spritz never came despite me asking three times. When I raised the problem, the bartender cut me off and argued instead of listening or apologising. We cancelled Dinner, and nobody seemed to care. The service felt shockingly rude and disorganised, nowhere near five-star quality. Avoid this Copenhagen hotel if basic hospitality matters to you.
