Dec25. It's very close to the main station and there's Metro access. City Hall, Tivoli Gardens and Nyhavn are all walkable. Reception staff are helpful up to a point. I love that breakfast is continental, with rolls and pastries delivered in a bag to the door every morning so we can eat in our room. The fridge comes with a basket of cheese, jams, butter and other bits. There's a table and sink, plus cutlery, a microwave, fridge and crockery. The bed is sumptuous, the bedding warm, and the shower room has small toiletries. It feels very well equipped overall, and there's a TV in the room. The doors close so quietly, which I love. Windows keep the noise out and warmth in, though the room can get warm.

The location is wonderful for walking to the station, Tivoli and pretty much everywhere, and the staff were kind and welcoming. But the room was worn and not very clean, with lots of cracks and moldy spots. The blanket was yellowing, so I didn't use it. This could be a nice place, but it badly needs updating and a deep clean.

The location is good and the room is basic. But if you want breakfast included, book somewhere else. They don't serve breakfast, just leave a basket of bread and some jam. Charging extra for that isn't right, it feels like theft.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL right now because it is under construction. They started heavy drilling at 6am, and nobody warned us when we booked or checked in. The drilling was right outside our window, and concrete dust was falling into the room. It's hazardous!

Great location, and you get what you pay for, which is fine. But I couldn't get a warm shower because the hot water ran out. Not great.
