Jeanette is a really friendly host and does her best to make the stay enjoyable. She’s like a private tourist office, with maps and flyers for the main attractions, and there’s high speed internet too. The rooms are unusually spacious thanks to the building’s history, which we liked, and the place has a cozy, privately owned feel. You could get a hotel room in central Copenhagen for the same price if you book well ahead, though that would be a different experience. There’s no breakfast, but a small kitchen is available. Without a table in either the shared space or the room, you’ll need to improvise somewhere to eat. Nearby stores have breakfast supplies, and there are coffee bars as another option. Public transport is close, and you can rent bikes around the corner, so getting to the airport or Copenhagen center is quick. We had no trouble with the shared bathroom, and it was clean whenever we used it. One room has its own facilities, though it costs more. We’d definitely stay here again.
