Audo Boutique Hotel

The hotel seems to have only limited staff on site, and only until evening, but it wasn’t an issue for us because Josefine did everything she could to help. Our stay at The Audo was excellent. The amenities and decor were very high quality, with lots of attention to detail.

Understated, elegant design, and a top notch example of a brand bringing its ideas to life in a real place.

Audo used to feel like a brand that stood for taste and Danish excellence, and the recent change to its food and lobby has badly damaged that. They outsourced food and beverage and redesigned the lobby with one of the area's most mediocre food purveyors, and the lobby, once one of the better features, has been ruined. The food used to be excellent, but now it’s objectively crappy. Ignore the older photos here, they’re from before the outsourcing. It baffles me that Wulff, the new purveyor at the Audio, can’t tell that its bread and pastries suck. There are at least three places within walking distance where you might actually want to eat: Original Coffee, Atelier September, and Andersen and Maillard. It’s rare to see a place snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like this. I used to highly recommend it, but the design change feels like self sabotage.

The meeting room was a good size for our workshop, and communication with the team was great throughout. The restaurant food was okay, but portions were extremely small, so we had to order more. Nordhavn tube station is an easy walk, less than three minutes away.
