Tivoli Hotel

The genuine hospitality and care with the details made me feel welcome throughout my stay. My trip around Denmark was wonderful, and staying at Hotel Tivoli was a real highlight. The staff were warm and professional, service was quick, the room was incredibly comfortable, and the location was excellent. One of my best hotel stays, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone visiting Denmark.

We had an amazing staycation on 14 Feb. They even gave us a bottle of Champagne at check-in. The indoor pool and gym were very good, and the lobby was spacious. Staff were really nice and friendly. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. It’s near the city center, and Fisketorvet shopping mall is within walking distance. Excellent!

We stayed seven nights while in Copenhagen for the AD/PD 2026 conference, and Tivoli Hotel felt like a comfortable home away from home. Getting around was easy, with public transport nearby for both the conference and exploring the city. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and its modern, cozy feel made it a relaxing place to return to after long days. Room service was prompt and reliable, too. Our one small gripe was that drinking water wasn’t complimentary. We think it’s a basic necessity, and it would be a thoughtful touch to provide it free for guests. Still, we had a lovely stay and would recommend Tivoli Hotel for work or leisure. We’d like to return. I hope my photos and videos give you a good idea of the place.

The room was fabulous, and the pool and sauna made for a very relaxing visit. Families can use those facilities from 10.30, so it got busy, though not unbearably so. We asked to check out late and paid a very reasonable fee for two extra hours, with one hour free. Leaving by 3pm let us go for a walk and lunch, then come back and use the facilities. Getting around was easy. We explored the area on foot, and our Uber arrived in a minute. Tivoli Gardens is less than a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel’s overall atmosphere felt busy and well organized. Check-in was simple, and our room on the 10th floor had a view. Room service arrived quickly, and the food was fresh, hot, and tasty. We also ate at Sticks and Sushi on the top floor, a welcome bonus to have such a good restaurant brand in the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast included, though I imagine it’s as high quality as the rest. I hadn’t realized when booking just how good this hotel would be. It was a very positive stay, and I’d love to come back.
