We didn't try breakfast, though there are plenty of good places to eat nearby. The bar had a nice atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was more like a pod, but it was clean, comfortable, and met our needs for three days. The central location was great, with good transport connections and easy access to the city and the islands.

The location is handy, but the nearby pizza place was awful. We had to walk around 20-30 minutes to find a really good meal. Breakfast on the 10th floor came with amazing views, though off-season there wasn't much choice. I especially liked the elderflower juice. The room was very small, and the bed cover was much too warm for me. The pillow wasn't comfortable either. In the bathroom, soap and shampoo came as one product rather than two separate toiletries.

I gave it three stars as an average, budget-friendly option. The young short-haired man at the front desk was kind and respectful, and when I asked for towels, getting them was no problem. I didn't experience room cleaning because I left the do-not-disturb sign up. The room was tiny, though I could sleep comfortably. Mine had a sewer smell coming from the shower, and the water wasn't draining well. I went to Netto, bought gloves, and cleared the buildup myself. This really needs to be cleaned after guests check out. The biggest issue was the Wi-Fi. It kept dropping in the room, lobby, and breakfast area. There have been reviews about this going back months, even years, and it seems the hotel still hasn't dealt with it. By 2025, nearly 2026, a hotel should have stable Wi-Fi. Breakfast costs about $15 a day. There's coffee, juice, deli meat, a few vegetables, pastries, and yogurt, with a view. For that price I didn't think it was worth it, though it's there if you don't want to go out in the morning.

I spent two pleasant nights at Wakeup Copenhagen. My room was quite small and had no wardrobe, but I was out most of the time, so it wasn't a problem. Patrick and Niklas deserve a special mention. They were very attentive, gave me great ideas for exploring Copenhagen's city centre, and provided excellent service at the hotel. Thanks again for making the stay so enjoyable.
