Hotel Britannia

We’re having a magical Christmas stay at Hotel Britannia. The Nordic sleep system is so comfortable, and every staff member has been warm, welcoming and helpful. Thanks to all of you for making our trip special.

I had a reservation in my email for five days a week over two months, but the hotel cancelled one of the weeks. I've never felt sure that a reservation is actually secure there. Maybe I misunderstood something, and perhaps I'm not the kind of client they want at a four-star hotel, but this really wasn't good. After the front desk replied to my review, I emailed the manager Patricia had mentioned. A week later, I still hadn't received an answer from the manager. It left me feeling I'd been treated the same way as with the reservation.

The location in central Esbjerg put almost everywhere I wanted to go within walking distance. The employees we met were all especially helpful and very nice, though room service wasn't very good. Our room was spacious, but the bed was a little uncomfortable.

The breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fresh bread, pastries, eggs, cheese, fruit, salads and meats, and it was delicious. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped, and the hotel is centrally located in Esbjerg, with easy access to shops and restaurants. There's convenient parking at the property, though it costs extra.
