Trinity Hotel Og Konference

The hotel's surroundings are green and peaceful, and we had a lovely weekend getaway. Our room was clean and the food delicious. Everyone was polite, from reception to the waiters and waitresses. Their effort to do their jobs well made our stay memorable.

The restaurant food was great, breakfast excellent, and the hotel itself nice with a decent location. We did have a frustrating first dinner, though. We'd booked the two course meal in advance for our group of 12, but there were more conference guests than the restaurant could handle, and private guests clearly weren't the priority. Drinks took nearly 30 minutes, the first course came after 45, and the main course arrived 90 minutes after we sat down. Our second dinner was excellent, and the meals came out quickly.

I couldn't sleep properly here, and that ruined what otherwise could have been a five star stay. The drinks and fine dining are quite nice, but sleep and comfort matter more, and the drinks could be colder than the tap water, which is actually cold and refreshing. I left more exhausted than after the 40 hours of flying to get here. There's no ventilation or AC, and the hotel doesn't provide fans or do not disturb, make up room, or do not enter signs. Housekeeping shuts the window during the day and opens the curtains even when I leave them closed. The room gets unbearably hot, and I was constantly sweating. I left the window slightly ajar to keep it cool enough to sleep, but that would have helped if it had been left alone. With the door shut, main switch off, and windows closed, no air can get in or out. The only other option is to sleep with the window wide open, which still isn't enough and feels unsafe at ground level, where someone could enter easily. Open windows or a ventilation system would solve this. I also didn't appreciate all the vehicles parked next to my room. This is two star quality at best, and the quality doesn't match the price. These seem like minor problems with simple fixes, but a hotel is for sleeping. If you can't get comfortable enough to sleep, you can't enjoy the dining or anything else.

The breakfast was nice, but be careful not to bring any pests home with you. I reported bearded crayfish in the room, and the staff didn't seem to care. They didn't even apologize.
