Breakfast was wonderful, and there’s a terrace too. The place is quiet and close to the centre, with a really friendly host. Our room was clean, though a little dated, and it’s in the basement. A good option if you want somewhere affordable and welcoming.

That’s old Danish hygge ❤️. Staying here felt like coming home to your best parents, with all the cozy little touches and hosts who were incredibly kind.

We got a warm welcome and a thorough introduction. The conservatory has a lovely view over the water. The place brought back childhood memories and had the cozy feel of the 80s, though it was also old and dark. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t use the well-equipped kitchen or visit Glyngøre town.

For one family, the separate house at Skovbakken 8 worked flawlessly. I stayed there overnight in December 2018, and the friendly, accommodating landlord handled both the planning and delivery of the ordered breakfast just as arranged. One thing to bear in mind if more people are travelling: there’s only one bedroom, with an extra bed and a curtain in the living room for additional overnight guests.
