The lady who hosted us was so sweet and friendly, and everything was clean. I accidentally broke a lamp and was ready to pay, but she told me I didn't need to. I'm really grateful. Breakfast was delicious, with a beautiful view too 😍 If I come to Bornholm again, I'll definitely stay at Hotel Herold!

We can't wait to return. This mega-cosy boutique hotel has amazing sunsets, and the staff are perfect. The restaurant downstairs serves incredible food with even better views. I can't recommend the place enough, it's a real gem.

We missed the boat home, so I called late in the evening to ask about a room. A friendly person said they had one, and when I arrived a really friendly, funny lady welcomed me. The room had an awesome view of the ocean and a dock with sailboats. The price felt cheap for the view and location. I felt like I'd won the lottery, finding the place by chance.

Good value, with traditional Danish food served buffet-style, self-service. They also have bottled beer from a local small-batch brewery. Well worth trying!
