Hotel Skandia

For a last-minute trip to Denmark, I was lucky to find this well-located hotel. It’s close to the water and right across from the train stop, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the port nearby to explore. The room was clean and comfortable for a reasonable price. The staff were decent, and breakfast was fairly average. It wasn’t very noisy at night. Nothing special, but certainly good enough that I’d stay again.

Thomas made sure our late ferry arrival went smoothly and easily. The hotel has excellent service, and its central spot near the harbour and railway station makes it convenient. The old town and cultural harbour are just around the corner for a walk. Rooms are cozy, breakfast is delicious, and it’s a great place for a relaxing stay.

A clean, basic hotel with nothing fancy, and a good breakfast. Being right by the train station and ferry is handy, though it can get noisy.

The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable, and I slept really well. It was clean and well equipped, with a table, kettle, and large shower. Breakfast had a good choice of ham, cheese, and juices. The hotel is just a few steps from the train station, and if you’re lucky, you can see the sea from the window. The town centre, sea, aquarium, castle, and the very nice Jellyfish restaurant are all just a few minutes’ walk away.
