Gunderupholm Apartments

Schellerup Gård is quiet, calm and beautiful, right by a lake and surrounded by forest. The setting feels relaxing and close to nature, and there’s a gorgeous new sauna and jacuzzi as well. It’s a lovely spot to read, hold an intimate gathering with friends or family, or take a break from the city noise. They had things set up for a beautiful upcoming holiday event. A friend and I stayed one evening in the glamping tent, and seeing the stars out in the countryside was hard to beat. There’s a lot to praise about the place and its kind hosts. It’s also near local activities like the event center, businesses in Herning, Legoland and more. I can’t recommend it enough, and I plan to return on a future visit.

We booked this place for a triathlon race in the region, but the event was unfortunately canceled on short notice. When I contacted the host, he showed no willingness or flexibility to reach an agreement. That poor customer service means I wouldn’t recommend the place.

The glamping tents are decorated so well and feel incredibly cozy. The area is lovely, and the facilities are top notch. The host was very friendly, welcoming and chatty, with really good service. The atmosphere was good and cozy throughout. 5/5 all the way.

We had a truly luxurious night of glamping. Great service, and a great place with rooms, glamping, a wild bath, sauna and swimming lake.
