The seafood was a highlight for me, fresh and full of flavour, and the rest of the food was delicious and well prepared too. At Hjørring Kro, the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had what we needed. The place feels cozy and welcoming, with wooden beams and a fireplace giving it a traditional Danish feel. I had a great visit and would recommend it to anyone in Hjørring looking for good food and service in a warm setting.

The “Luxus Stjerneskud” was so good that I’ll definitely come back for another. I didn’t stay there, just had a meal, and both the food and service were wonderful. The location could be a little better, but it’s close enough to everything that it wasn’t a big issue.

I’d recommend this hotel for a holiday in town or even just a one-night stay, like mine. It’s a great-looking building, probably the best in town in my opinion. The rooms were clean and had no bad smell, and I really liked the lobster soup at the restaurant. The restaurant itself was very good.

We only had a short stay because we needed to catch a ferry in the morning, and arrived too late to enjoy the place properly. The staff were really friendly, though. Our room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good, and the location was great. There was nothing not to like.

I went to a birthday party here and had a four-course meal. The dishes were pretty bland and uninspired, and I didn’t care for the wine either, it tasted very cheap. The dining hall felt bare and white and could use more decoration.
