Our room was clean, though on the small side, and the hotel itself is nice, with friendly staff, a good location and a great breakfast. But a loud party with music went on until 05:00 AM next to the student area/fraternity. We came to relax and left exhausted. It was outside the hotel grounds, but I can’t give a positive review after that stay. We were there on a Saturday night, and when we asked, the staff made it sound like this wasn’t the first time.

The view is superb and the staff are welcoming. Breakfast was good, and the room was okay, though the toilet leaks. Dinner seemed expensive for what was just an okay meal. The drinks were unassuming, and the wine list felt unbalanced. (3.8)

We found this to be a terrific hotel and good value compared with staying at an expensive Copenhagen hotel and making Kronborg Castle a day trip. The train ride to the castle takes about 35 minutes. Kronborg played a key role in northern European history, and pairing a visit to that outstanding Renaissance castle with a stay here worked really well.

Brunch with a view of the little lake was lovely. It’s a charming small hotel close to everything, with nice interiors, clean rooms and friendly staff.

I was there for business and would gladly return. The hotel is charming, and the dining room has a nice view. Both dinner and breakfast were great, with very good food.
