Tina made the day feel so special, arranging a lovely lunch and taking extra care with the orangery and spa area for all of us. My girlfriends, sisters and I got ready together at Heart of Nature before my wedding in Lejre, and I spent the night before in Skovperlen with my mom. The glamping grounds are peaceful, beautifully decorated and well looked after. I’m so grateful we found such a tranquil place for our big day. I’d happily recommend it to families, friends or couples.

Skovperlen feels like you’re right in the forest, with an astonishing view. The cabin is made with natural materials and has been thought through down to the smallest detail, with everything you need and then some. We enjoyed every second at Heart of Nature and honestly could have stayed another day or two. If you want to slow down, be present and enjoy the company you’re with, give yourself this kind of getaway. I’d definitely recommend it.

Even with the November cold, we could sit outside at SøPerlen, grill, and drink wine under a starry sky. It felt like somewhere out of Lord of the Rings, and the whole stay was a dream. Tina, who runs Valsøgaard, drove us around in her caddy first and told us about the farm’s history, cabins, shelters and fields. The service was top notch. We’ll definitely be back. I’d bet my old hat this place will be one of the more popular spots in the next few years.

The little details have all been thought through, so you can just settle in and enjoy the calm, nature and top-class glamping. Heart of Nature is such a beautiful, special, almost magical place. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you.

The spa felt like pure luxury outdoors on a dark winter evening, and the winter setting was lovely too. I stayed at Heart of Nature from 16-18 December. In the View Cabin it was warm and cozy, with fairy lights, blankets and lambskin, while outside there was a starry sky, a campfire, and owls and pheasants calling in the dark. It made for a really lovely start to Christmas. I’d absolutely recommend Heart of Nature, even in the winter darkness.
