The shared living room is huge, with couches, tables and chairs, a TV, and a vending machine. The rooms are small but laid out well, and the bathroom is shared. Everything was very clean. The location worked really well for us, close to the ferry, the beach, and Skagen, and the host was lovely. If you're staying, have the breakfast. It was fresh, with plenty to choose from, and the bread was still warm.

Breakfast is optional, and when we ordered it, it was good and available from 9 am. The friendly owners explained that many guests leave early, and with ferry arrivals as late as around 11 pm and some guests wanting breakfast at 6 am before the 8 am ferry, offering breakfast isn't always practical. I can't blame them for that. The rooms and bathrooms were newly refurbished in 2016, according to the owner, and everything was very clean. A recommendable place to stay. We stayed the night of Thu. 23 Aug '19.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the place is in very good shape. It makes a good base for exploring, Skagen for example. There's also a nice setup for making a small supper yourself, with a kettle and microwave, and you can use the refrigerator too.

The food was very good, reasonably priced, and served with a friendly smile. I'd recommend it!
