We’re walking the Camøno Trail, and Motel Stege is in a great location. The room was super clean, and I loved the kitchenette, which had the basics well covered. Best of all, they accommodated my vegan diet and even put soymilk in the fridge. Wow!

The place was clean and set among cute historic homes and gardens. Self check-in was easy, and we could lock our bikes in the garage. The kitchenette was there, though we didn’t use it. There’s no breakfast on site, and be warned, the local cafes don’t open until 10. It was very noisy at night, and we could hear all the other guests.

Check-in went smoothly, so staying one night was okay. Our room, though, was quite old, not very clean, and smelled of smoke.
