Norsminde Kro

The room was large and comfortable, with a fantastic view and a very good bed. At dinner in the Brasserie, the staff had reserved what felt like the best table, with a great view and a comfortable distance from the other guests. The service was excellent, and the three-course meal with wine was very good. It wasn't overly fancy, but the food was creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. Breakfast the next morning was very good and homemade too. We stayed at Norsminde Kro April 9 - 10 and enjoyed the visit very much. It was a lovely evening, and we'd be glad to return if we get the chance. We can absolutely recommend the place.

A lovely place for a weekend away, right by the sea. The rooms are cozy, though the showers aren't great and there's no curtain. The bar and restaurant are very nice, and the wine cellar is fantastic, with lots of tables for tastings.

We had the splendid basement room to ourselves for our Christmas company dinner with 18 people. The setting was cozy and nicely decorated, and the staff were attentive and in good spirits. The meal was amazing, with seven courses plus several snack courses, each explained well and paired with wines.

We left hungry and disappointed after lunch. There were seven of us, including three kids, with a 12:30 pm reservation, but the food didn't arrive until 2:15. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The asparagus main course was just THREE pieces, and after waiting an hour and 45 minutes, that wasn't enough. Even getting more ketchup for the kids took 20 minutes. The staff were very polite, but that didn't make up for the wait. We can't recommend this place, which is a real shame since it's close to the ocean and in a nice spot.
