We arrived at 21:15, just 15 minutes after the official closing time, even though we’d told the hotel in advance we would be late. Nobody waited for us or offered any help. We had a young child with us and ended up searching for an open hotel late at night; the nearest one we could find was 50 kilometers away. It was a deeply upsetting and inconvenient experience. The next day, the hotel apologized and said they would process a refund. Months have passed, and we’ve received neither the money nor any further message. We feel ignored and misled, and the delay has only added to the stress. This felt like a serious lack of respect for guests, especially from a place that says it values its customers. I hope management thinks carefully about how guests are treated in situations like this. I’d give zero stars if I could. Horrific experience.

The quadruple room had a shared bathroom, and the price included linen and towels. There was a free parking spot available when we stayed. The pub and restaurant downstairs serves breakfast in the morning and beer in the evening :-) It’s at the end of the historic street, just a few minutes from the main square.

Rooms 3 and 5 share a bathroom and toilet; the other rooms have their own facilities. The bathroom was small but functional. We found the stay okay, though the dated decor wasn’t especially charming. Cleanliness was uneven: the floor was clean, but the bathroom ceiling looked as if it might have mold, and there were cobwebs on the curtains, along the baseboards, and in the corners. We gently escorted around ten little spiders out of the room. The sound insulation was poor, so we clearly heard voices, doors, and other noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The room door was very difficult to open and especially to lock. It could use oil, maintenance, or perhaps replacing. These are details to bear in mind depending on what you’re looking for.

A charming hotel in a very central spot, with free parking not too far away. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which worked well for one night. It was also really quiet.
