We spent three hours fishing at the kids' lake, and my children even got to rent rods for their very first fishing trip. They had several catches despite the summer heat, though we did rely entirely on maggots for bait. The staff were patient, helpful, and understanding, and the whole visit went smoothly. The price was reasonable. Thanks for giving us such a lovely memory. We hope to return.

The setting was the best part for us: sea, lovely nature, fishing, and a playground for the kids. My family and I really enjoyed that side of our stay. The cottage, though, felt more like a container and got so hot that we had to run the air conditioning, which I don't particularly like. Almost everything also cost extra, including linen and towels, and there wasn't even soap. Having to clean the cottage ourselves at checkout was stressful with small children and made leaving inconvenient. You come for the beautiful surroundings and facilities, but the accommodation and added charges could be better.

The mattress sagged in the middle, and the cooker switch was broken. There was no soap in the bathroom, the remote had flat batteries, and one of the sheets we were given had blood stains. On top of that, the apartment was expensive for just one night, with sheets and towels charged extra. We had to make the bed, strip it in the morning, and sweep before leaving. Not a good place for a one-night stop.

We booked on December 18th so our family could stay the night before our wedding at Ribe town hall, and the small cottages were clean and furnished well enough for a longer stay. Everyone treated us like family, and we hope to come back in summer and spend more time there. On the morning of the wedding, getting everyone ready with the photographer and makeup team was chaotic. We ran out of time and left without packing or cleaning before the 10am checkout. When I explained as we left, they told us to focus on making our wedding and not worry. We can't thank them enough for being so understanding and for all the extra support. We also want to apologize for the inconvenience. It's a beautiful, well-kept resort, and I'd encourage anyone visiting Ribe to stay there.

There are six beds in the house: two downstairs in one room, then two separate beds in each of the two upstairs rooms. It can sleep six, but I think that would feel a bit crowded. The houses are very nice, the people are kind, and it's peaceful. I'd book again.
