Borgdal

The menu was excellent, and the staff did everything they could to make the celebration special for everyone. We celebrated my 80th birthday at Borgdal, and the place was already so cozy, with Trine and the staff putting in extra effort to decorate it. I can’t think of anything that went wrong. Big greetings to everyone at Borgdal, and thanks especially for helping make my birthday unforgettable.

We fell for the old building’s intimate, cozy atmosphere, and working with Trine to plan the party went really well. We agreed on what we wanted to achieve, the mood, and the other details. On the day, the decorations were just as we’d hoped, the food was very well prepared, and the staff were incredibly nice. The party was fantastic. Warmest recommendation for Borgdal, and many thanks to Trine and her staff.

The setting in the forest is really cozy and beautiful, and the little rooms are very cool. But there were cobwebs and dust, no curtains, and loud, annoying noises in the walls. For a medium-sized party, the tables were much too close together. The food was okay, though some dishes were cold and there were long waits between courses. They really aren’t good at mixing drinks.

Close to forests and surrounded by lots of lakes, this is a really nice place. The rooms were clean, and the bedding and beds were very comfortable. I recommend it with all my heart.
