Danhostel Silkeborg

I won’t be staying here again. The rooms weren’t to my taste, and they’re very small. I could never get fresh towels or have the trash emptied, and the staff were strict and harsh. It was hard to find anyone when I needed help. The bathroom light made a strange noise when switched on. The food was homemade, as people say, but it was all plain. I stopped eating at one point because I didn’t want pasta salad for the fourth time.

The food choices were poor, usually the same plain things each night and morning, with watered-down juices and more. The bathrooms were horrible, and the light made a weird noise when switched on. I and other people sharing my room woke up with bites on our faces and arms. The hosts were rude, and when I needed help they either weren’t there or ignored me.

The staff were very helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a river view. Breakfast was delicious and had a tasty range of food. I’d definitely stay here again.
