Everything about our overnight stay seemed fine until we noticed that the pillowcases smelled like someone else had used them, as if they hadn’t been changed. We reported the cleanliness issue in our booking review, given that we paid 1100 kr for the night. Then the owner called and argued with us about leaving a low rating over this oversight. Quite a hospitality experience. Don’t book here if you want to avoid a terrible call from the owner.

It’s a handy spot, just a short walk from shops and restaurants, and I enjoyed my stay overall. Still, the little things mattered: we had to make the beds ourselves, strip them before leaving, take out our own rubbish, and there was no shampoo or soap in the shower. It feels like more places want hotel prices without doing the work. For the same money, I could stay at a chain hotel and have the bed made, toiletries provided, and rubbish taken away. I enjoyed the stay, but those details count.

A good option for motorcyclists who care about security. Each apartment has its own entrance set back from the main road, and parking is right outside. The entrance door has windows, so you can keep an eye on your motorcycle. There’s some parking for cars too.

We stayed in a clean, spacious, well-equipped family apartment with three bedrooms for six, plus a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. There are different apartment sizes, and this one worked well for a weekend with friends and family. The location is good, close to the beach and center, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The only downside was slow Wi-Fi.
