Tisvilde has a calm, gentle serenity that was exactly what I’d been looking for, and this hotel is part of why the town captured my heart. It’s beautifully placed near the beach, woods, and main street. I came for a big birthday, and the hospitality was amazing. We had a few initial booking problems, but reception sorted them out quickly. Breakfast was incredible, with thoughtful touches like pretty dried flowers on every table. Magical!

We had a very good restaurant experience. The food was well prepared and had a nice local touch, with a good wine selection. Terras has a nice view, and the restaurant is cozy but spacious inside. Service was happy, friendly, and accommodating. Just be aware the menu is only in Danish, though Google Translate can help.

The food is great, probably the best in Tisvilde, and the prices are okay. It’s a lovely venue in a perfect location, with a fun outdoor terrace when the weather cooperates. The staff are mostly young, hardworking kids without training, and they’re too busy and not very professional, though they do try their best.

For my mum’s 80th birthday, we had a beautiful seafood lunch, drinks on the balcony, and smiling, helpful staff the whole time. I highly recommend the restaurant for a special occasion.

We booked the getaway package with a superior room and dinner. The setting is amazing, with a quiet, luxurious feel. The room was nice and the bed really comfortable. Dinner was okay, while breakfast on the seaside terrace was amazing. The garden and terrace are terrific.
