The setting is great, and the food was really good too. A little-known gem for dining.

The staff were lovely, 10 out of 10 :-) I was looking for somewhere to stay in North Jutland, but all my usual places were full. Lyneborg kro had room, so I stayed two nights and really enjoyed the surroundings. The food was a treat, delicious and interesting. I'll definitely come back for the good food and friendly staff.

Some of the wines were good, but the meal as a whole felt like the attention was going to a wedding being held at the same time. We had the à la carte and wine menu, five courses with paired wine, and the dishes felt oddly put together and poorly done.

Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. The atmosphere at Luneborg Kro is unusually cozy, and they kept things fresh throughout the day, changing the cold water on the tables and replenishing the freshly cut fruit.
