Mette, the owner, served delicious, generous breakfasts made with produce from the garden. The room was beautifully decorated and looked out over the garden. It was chilly, so we lit the woodburner to warm up, which made the place feel even more hyggeligt. I’d been unsure about booking because of the shared bathroom, but I’m really glad we came. Highly recommended!

We got there early and Mette, the sweetest woman, welcomed us. The room is romantic, with lovely surroundings and a really nice bathroom. There’s the option of breakfast and a cozy little kitchenette. The room has two terrace doors, where you can sit with your coffee and enjoy the garden.

We had to cancel our overnight stay at Kardemommehuset because of illness, but Mette handled it so kindly, understandingly and flexibly. I’m very grateful, and I really hope my husband and I get the chance to visit Kardemommehuset another time.

Such a cozy place, with a lovely room and welcoming surroundings. The hostess and her dog were the sweetest. We’ll definitely come again.
