The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the staff were nice, but the room itself let us down. We stayed four days in an old-fashioned room, and the bathroom didn't match what we expected from the Booking photos. Breakfast had the same small selection every morning. We also had to leave the car a few streets away, about a five-minute walk, because the lot out front was always full.

The room's shower and toilet were combined in a space of only 3 square meters, which felt like too much. For what I paid, this was more or less a two-star experience. I arrived late the night before and came down to the restaurant around 9, only to find a few leftovers and not much being replenished. The tomatoes tasted disgusting. I'm vegetarian, but couldn't manage more than the one already in my mouth. The people were nice, but the experience was rather poor and not my style.

The location is great, right beside the walking street. Our room was clean and okay, though a little old, and it had its own sauna and spa. The LCD TV had Google Cast but no cable TV.

The breakfast was amazing, and I'd happily stay here again. The room was simple but spotless, with a comfortable bed. It's right in the center of Viborg, so getting around on foot is easy. There's a restaurant and bar downstairs, but it wasn't excessively noisy, even on a Saturday night. Highly recommend.
