The complimentary breakfast ran from 730am to 930am, with a nice range of choices, and you could buy extra items at a reasonable price. Staff were courteous and professional, Wi-Fi reception was good, parking was available for rental cars, and there was wheelchair access. My spacious room had a comfortable bed, effective air conditioning, a wall-mounted TV, and plenty of closet space. The bathroom had great pressure and hot water. I spent four nights at this quiet, clean, well-run, budget-friendly guesthouse, a short distance from central Roseau. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return when visiting Roseau.

I stayed for three weeks in May and felt like part of the family at this family-run place. It had a clean room, hot shower, fantastic breakfast, and friendly people. I'm hoping to visit Dominica again, and in Roseau, St. James Guesthouse is the only place I'm considering. I've seen people talk about the surrounding area. Dominica, especially Roseau, gets hurricanes and flood damage, and there isn't always money to repair the infrastructure. But Roseau is very friendly and welcoming, and you won't regret booking here. Sorry this review is so late, that's my ADHD, not St. James Guesthouse.

The rooms were immaculately clean, and the service was friendly and excellent. It's easy to walk into town and to the ferry, and the value for money is great. I'd definitely stay here again.
