Really great place, and a week is nearly enough time! The people were great, service was outstanding and the price was right. Book it, then thank me later.

I only ate at the restaurant, and now I see why people across the island pointed us here for lobster. The portion was about twice the size we got elsewhere, for a very reasonable price, and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant sits in an idyllic little private bay right by the sea. Service was quick and friendly, and the owner is a delightful character. Highly recommended.

The mussels were tough, chewy and inedible. When we told the owner, he reacted badly and came up with excuses so we'd pay the €30, even though they weren't worth it. The fish was imported and not fresh at all. Wouldn't recommend.

The fish soup and crayfish were delicious, and the service was really friendly. Definitely recommend.

The food was the highlight of our six days here in October. At breakfast there'd be a table set for us, and the cooks were amazing at breakfast, lunch and dinner. By the second day, one already knew our order. They used fruit grown on the property, including dragon fruit for a delicious jam. We felt very welcome at Sunset bay. The suite worked well for two, with a good amount of space, somewhere to sit and eat if we brought food back, and a nice bathroom setup. Elizabeth and her helper cleaned the room and made the bed every day, and were so nice to us. The resort felt homey and relaxing, right on the beach, where we could hear waves from the room. The pool was great, and the slightly secluded setting made it quiet and comfortable to relax. We were the only guests during our stay. There were showers and a sauna, which owner Roger turned on every other day. The grounds were beautifully laid out, with lovely vegetation, and Roger had clearly put a lot of thought and hard work into them. The weather was beautiful too. There were plenty of bugs, lizards, iguanas and some snakes in the area, but ants were the only bug problem I had. A relaxing weekend with great staff.
