The dining room is large, but the food felt aimed at locals rather than tourists. There were no vegetables, cheese, omelettes or bread, just margarine. The rooms are poorly maintained, with a mold smell that seems soaked into the walls, and towels as hard as ones from the 70s. The beach was the worst I've ever seen, covered in dirt, bottles, glass and seaweed. At about $80 for a couple, the price is far too high. I wouldn't recommend it.

I stayed here with my one-year-old, and it was a terrible experience. The staff were very rude, and the room was not properly cleaned. There were mosquitoes biting my baby, and one day I found a cockroach in the room. The bathroom was filthy and stained, the sheets looked unchanged or were stained, and the beds were hard as rocks and very uncomfortable. The pool was dirty too, with black bits and dead bugs everywhere. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The location is central, with beach access and ocean views, and there are plenty of amenities. The resort has a restaurant, good parking and reliable broadband that's moderately fast. Rooms range from basic to elegant. Prices and service are good.

We had a spacious enough room with one bed and a balcony overlooking the beach, and they didn't charge us for the in-room safe. The food was average, and drinks cost extra. We were warned not to swim at the beach because the water might be contaminated.
