Hotel El Ancla

The rooms are clean and updated, and you can get one with a balcony. There's private parking, and the staff and security are amazing. It's a great, safe location, and service dogs are welcome.

We'd had a hard time finding a clean, accommodating place in Baharona with two double rooms, then came across this hotel. It was lovely and surprisingly upscale, with thoughtful touches like chocolates in the room and a welcoming feel. The underground parking off the street was handy. It's away from the main road, which made the place feel peaceful and secure, and we slept well. Don't hesitate to book here.

The rooms were spotless, modern and had great amenities. Management and the hotel staff were attentive and gave us wonderful service. We'll definitely come back. Thanks, Servio 🌹

A good place to stay while traveling through the south of the Dominican Republic. They have full rooms with kitchens and other things if you're staying a couple of days. We only stayed one night, so chose a regular room. The price was very reasonable and it was a good spot for a day or so in the south. Ask for coffee at the lobby. They also gave us three bottles of water and two sodas, all included.
